The fish and chips here consistently impress with their freshness and proper chip-shop crunch. Diners rave about the gluten-free options, making it an inclusive choice for those with dietary restrictions. The friendly and attentive staff create a warm atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the delicious food. Customers often highlight the eco-friendly packaging and wooden cutlery, which add a thoughtful touch to the dining experience. Many enjoy dining al fresco, savoring their meals outside when the weather allows, enhancing the casual yet vibrant vibe of the place.

Most Disliked

Some patrons note that while salt and vinegar are complimentary, additional sauces come with a charge. The limited indoor seating can lead to busier times, especially on weekends, making it difficult to find a table during peak hours. A few diners express a wish for quicker service during lunch rushes, particularly on busy Saturdays. Additionally, while gluten-free options receive praise, some traditionalists may miss the exclusively classic offerings without variations.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. We got a large fish and chips to share between the two of us and that was plenty. Vinegar and salt are free but you have to pay if you want any other sauces. Eat in or takeaway. We took ours away to eat on the beach.

Absolutely superb place to eat! Best fish n chip shop in Weymouth. The staff were fantastic. Offering a warm welcome and very friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too. We came looking for Gluten Free options, and Jackson’s Fish & Chips doesn’t disappoint. Offering a vast selection of GF options. We tried the gluten free battered sausage, delicious. The chips were great too, proper chip shop chips, and all gluten free. They were kind enough to give us a small pot of their GF curry sauce to try which I have to say was nicer than the regular curry sauce. Will definitely come again and would be more than happy to travel the 135 miles for it!!

Amazing and friendly staff! And for me, surprisingly to find gluten free options on the fish and chips and vinegar! For my friends without dietary issues, did I say ‘halloumi fries’?

Best fish&chips I've had in years! Crispy batter, fresh and tasty fish. We had halloumi fries as well, which was pretty good. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely banging calamari in panko breadcrumbs, and chips were lovely and chunky and cooked to perfection. Fabulous and extensive gluten free menu, clean premises and a lovely clean toilet.
